Synopsis
Without faith, it is impossible to please God. In Luke 8:25, Jesus Christ asks a very important question, one which came both as a gentle rebuke and as an object lesson. We should trust God because even the storms of life are under His sovereign control. We ought to trust in God in the midst of stormy troubles, because Jesus Christ set a perfect example for us – He slept through the storm because He has confidence in the loving care of His father. Jesus Christ is always with His people even in the storms of life, just as He was in the boat with His disciples during the storm.
If anyone was to ask you, "where is your faith?", what would your answer be? Would you say that your faith is in Jesus Christ? If so, what difference has the Lord Jesus Christ made in your life, especially during the storms of life? Do you sense His presence? Do your eyes of faith see Him with you all the time?
