Our Reliable Deliverer

Christians have a God who is a Reliable Deliverer in Christ, a Deliverer who responds to all kinds of trouble; He gives comfort to a heart in distress, He gives joy to the heart in sorrow, He gives relief to the afflicted and a God that grants healing to those who are sick.

However, God does not respond to our troubles on account of our positive confessions, but on account of His own sovereign will. God has proven His faithfulness to us through His Word and what we are able to deduce from the experiences of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego facing persecution and then being delivered by God from the fire and the Lion's den. Similarly, like the story of Queen Esther and Mordecai witnessing God rescue of His people who were under threat. It is knowing that there is a God in heaven who comes to the rescue of His people.
