Synopsis

Christian unity is a marvel and a work of grace, all of us are different but what unites as Christians is eternal. In Acts 2:1 we see the united Christians that had gathered together on the day of Pentecost awaiting God’s Spirit to be poured upon them. The disciples attitude and mood during the day of Pentecost was characterized by; the sense of belonging to a family of God’s people, they dwelt together and they were united in diversity. Christians are extolled to be united for there's one Body (Church) one hope and these should bind Christians together.

Christian Unity draws attention the on lookers, notice that on lookers were able to see that there was something different about the 120 believers that met together. Christian Unity fosters growth through the bond of peace, notice that the mood and the attitude of the disciples precipitated the joy and the pleasantness of the Holy Spirit to come - behold how pleasant and good it for brethren to dwell in Unity.
